Purchase a stand-alone tool or combine with the Greenhouse curriculum and tools.
A greenhouse is a controlled setting where plants can get the care needed to become established prior to being transplanted into the elements.
In the same way, our Greenhouse curriculum is designed to pull away from the elements to focus on new skill development. This can be done in a 1:1 setting, group or residential.
Tailored for both short and long-term programs as well as secular and faith-based.
Introduce eight timeless and universal principles that makeup the anatomy of a choice.
Full access to our Curriculum Portal for easy access for materials and tools.
What tool do you reach for in a moment of crisis? If the only tools you have are not effective, maybe it is time to learn some that will positively impact your life.
We use tools to practice in an artificial setting until they are mastered. At this point, the brain has new options to choose from during high stress moments.
We offer effective tools that enforce new behaviors while challenging limiting belief systems.
Worksheets and activities re-enforce new concepts until they become habit.
Written by input from clients in settings such as those facing homelessness, substance use disorders, mental health diagnosis, incarceration and family coaching.
Our Capacity Assessment Tool considers 25 life domains to determine the level of care needed. Think of levels of care as prevention, prescriptive and intensive.
Prevention - An assessment score of 4+ reflects the lowest level of care. Think of it as preventative work we take to care for ourselves. Think of taking vitamins or changing the oil in your car. These are steps taken to avoid challenges. When facing challenges, a person might attend a workshop, read a self-help book or reach out to friends and family. This reflects a stable environment and a strong set of skills. We offer workshops, growth groups or conferences as prevention.
Treatment - An assessment score of 3 - 4 reflects the need for support outside of a persons regular support network. Think of seeing the doctor when ill or taking the car in because it is not running well. When facing challenges, a person may be seeing a counselor on a regular basis or engaged in personal coaching. We offer growth groups, family team meetings or 1:1 coaching sessions as intervention.
Intensive - An assessment score of 1-3 reflects the need for increased support outside of the home. Think of needing to go to the hospital for treatment or leaving a car for extensive work. When facing challenges, a person finds it difficult to establish and maintain a plan. Residential treatment is a solution to assist in identifying needs and offering support needed. We offer services to design or modify residential programs.
The look and feel of any faciity speaks volumes to the value of the person being served. Funding often dictates the ability to make desired upgrades, but it is important to consider the message when a new client arrives. Is the environment warm, friendly and clean? Does a client have matching sheets for their bed or are they given leftovers? Is the facility one that you would be willing to live in? Clients entering residential facilities have often been given the leftovers in life. They may not notice a worn facility as they are used to it and don to expect more. But they certainly will notice a warm and welcoming environment.
Are your staff trained to be welcoming in their approach? A client entering residential treatment expedt to spend the first few hours completing paperwork. Do your staff have time to devote to the client or is the feel rushed and uncaring? Are there opportunities to offer a snack and complete paperwork in a quiet setting?
Do your policies reflect rules and regulations or do they reflect boundaries that are presented in a respectful manner? Policies can send the same message if they are written as rules or if they are written as guidelines. Clients expect rules and expectations. What if they were met with policies that encourage them and show the "why" behind the rule?
